May is Mental Health Awareness Month and emotional well-being is now being acknowledged by employers, with many conducting pulse checks to ensure that their workers are not being affected by emotional issues. With 62% of workers reporting that work is their main source of stress, it is necessary for both employers and employees to be mindful of their mental well-being. Studies show that when mindfulness is practiced within the workplace, it reduces the level of stress and boosts workplace morale. To date, 51% of employers see the value of providing some training or activity to help employees to rewire and refocus. This level of employer awareness will help to reduce turnover and increased sick leave.
This session will offer tips and strategies on how to reduce stress to propel you forward in fully showing up to meet the demands of your role and responsibilities.
